Pool is back but its not that clean. There are a few mosquitos sibblings as they seem or maybe some other insects floating on the corners. Other than that the pool does not seem to be clean as it was before. Partly becuase of rains and winds blowing carrying lots of debris with them.
Baby Sara has been trying to crawl but she has a few more days to go before she starts. We do not have carpet in our room. So it will be tougher as she starts that stage. Baby Sara started with mashed potatoes and carrots in her diet. Apart from that she is eating rice cereal on a regular basis.

Mango update.
Lets see the mango season continues to do well most of the times (May through August). Mango prices are at Rs. 35 per kg.The donkey cart wala says not to pick the mangoes from the lower level as the smaller mangoes will fall. But I cannot help it. Nor can I prevent myself from digging deep for larger mangoes on the cart. Who travels from the fruit mandee to the market near our house. Lots of them available. For selling all sorts of mangoes ranging from Rs 35-40. Main variety called Chossa. I have not seen Sindhri in the market.
Since July started.
Tara is always eager to eat several mangoes in a day. And today she's going to have the seed as well for some reason. She is pulling off the peel off the seed as mangoes continue to become tastier as we enter the mid season.
Baby Sara is today 25.5 inches long and 14 pounds.
Baby Sara has the same sleep times as us. Though whenever she goes to sleep. We go to sleep at the same time.

Sweltering HOT!!
Here the temperatures have peaked up to 115 to 120 everyday now. Its the hottest in the year. We're just not wanting to get out during the day time. When the sun has warmed the whole area like a steaming kettle. One can actually cook an egg on a car top during the day time easily. Baby Sara is doing ok except that she pooped on me tonight and peed on me too all in 5 minutes span. Did I say its hot. My a/c is leaking water I think the a/c is sweating out as it is rarely turned off. I dread the day it will quit on me. Here in Pakistan each room is cooled. Not the whole house. So one stays in one a/c room to the other. There are no a/c's in the kitchen. Did I also indicate all the gas stations are not self service. I know I am switching subjects but that's what came up. My stomach feels bad. Have some pain. Probably its due to change in the diet. We went to eat out at my parent's. And the food may have done it. Well back to the heat issue. The people have or are in the process of loosing their minds. There are people here like the watchmen here. By the way every house or every house has a watchman. They spend most of the their lives in a non a/c environment and they spend all their time outside looking after the gate/entrance. Then there are servants or helpers they also spend most of their time in the servant quarters with no a/c. They only get the privilege of fans. Next is the mango season. Its great to eat these mangoes. They are tasty. Be careful with the mango vendors. They can give you bad mangoes too. I got two bad ones today. And possibly more. But lets see when we start eating them. Last ones were very good. I liked them a lot. Very sweet. Yummy. The TV channels here work very strangely. Meaning they seem to change their frequency. One or two channels just vanish after a couple of days. Though them channels come from Middle East and India so I am not complaining. The rest of the cable is excellent here.

Reason for not having tea.
Did not have a reason to be awake all night in the US. I usually had coke or some kind of softdrink in the US. But here in Pakistan I find tea being greatly satisfying. Another reason could be in the US I cosumed more milk everyday. Here in Pakistan I don't consume as much milk.
Which is another reason to drink tea. I also like the creamer here. Its tastes really good with the creamer here called "Everyday".

Updates.
Lets see. Brother had a second surgery on his hemorrhoids(piles). He's still under great deal of pain. That's a reminder for myself to have more fiber in my diet. Isaphgol is recommended and is readily available here. Suppose to be very cheap too here in Pakistan.
Next option would be to take Metamucil. I have not tried any Isaphgol as yet. But I am going to try it. Just to make sure I have plenty of fiber and lose bad cholesterol for a change.
Baby Sara is taking cereal on a regular basis. She is taking 3 oz of rice cereal. And she gulps it fairly quickly. Much quicker than she takes her formula.
Baby Sara is doubled her weight and half her height.
These days I am enjoying the soccer World Cup.
Drinking lots of tea at work. As I did not have any tea in the US for the past 12 years. And I find it very tasty. Everyone at work seems to be thinking I am drinking tea for the first time.

Afraid of power breakdowns. Made me send my post early.
I sent the post as the electricity has been going out for a few times in a day. Which really gets me upset.
Well the movies I have seen or in the process of watching. It seems I never finish a movie in its entirety for some odd reason. In my single days it used to be a movie a day keeps me occupied for the whole day.
Meet the Fockers. Really liked this movie.
Da Vinci Code. I still don't understand that movie which is two languages. Since I don't understand the movie I could not finish it either.
Bewitched. This movie sucked. No head no tail in this movie. Just jibber jabber movie.
March of the Penguins. A documentary movie on penguins in the South pole. Good for toddlers.
The reason for putting up the movie list.
IN Pakistan there are DVD's, VCD's that are available for a dollar. And they are 4 or five in one DVD/VCD print. Not really good prints but you do get to see a latest movie for dollar and 3 other latest movies if you're lucky.
Or get to see the whole trilogy or quadrology for that matter. In one Disc.
So I bought 6 CD's for a dollar each and it gave me 20 movies. Including an Indian movie. Not a bad deal.
Lets see this week we went to Pizza Hut twice for a salad and all you can drink soda pitchers. Then we went to Liberty Burger twice for Chicken Spicy Burger for a $1.10 for burger fries chips and Cole slow. It includes a stick to eat the Cole slaw with. We went to Sunday Bazaar to get some cheap veggies and junk food. For e.g. cucumbers for 5cents a pound and potato chips for 50 cents a pound. Cookies (biscuits) for 20 cents a pound. Lets see what else and Tara bought a second slipper to use inside the house for 80 cents. Not a bad deal at all. For driving 10 miles each way. We had feast which is filled with chocolate inside and ice-cream outside.
Tara cooked meethay chawal, Apple Cinnamon and Bombay Biryani this week too. I ask for burgers for her to cook but she does not like the beef here. She managed to make some Shami Kababs for my later consumption. As a snack item to use whenever we don't have anything cooked. The issue with the chicken did get me to lose $15 dollars of chicken which now I'll give it to my mom so she can cook it.
The only thing to look forward to here is to eat good and sleep well.
We do have a routine of waking up early in the morning. SO we can skip the heat and sleep it off. Which is really good a habit. So waking up or having meals at 4:30 or 5:00 am is not uncommon.

Recent updates.
Updating after many days of times away from internet is a good experience. Though my work entails 45 hours of computer use every week. My access to the internet has become non existent at my work. So I am having to use the home computer to blog and post about the stuff I usually use my work for.
Well the price of onions and tomatoes have fallen drastically meaning 20 cents or less a kg. Recently, chicken prices were lower too. But the price is suppose to rise due to issues with chicken being off the media coverage for now.
The temperature or feeling hot this summer has not been the same as last year. As its cooler this year. It does not feel uncomfortably hot if we sit outside in our dining room which is not air-conditioned.
Now enough of babbling lets get down to more updates. Sara has gained most likely another 1 kg or more than 2 pounds until this month. Making her weight at a staggering 6 kg for a four month old.
We went swimming last night and it was awesome. The water was just the right temperature. And the water had just been cleaned for swimming. Baby Sara got her first swim. And she did not get nervous about swimming in such a big pool. Rather than the small sized bath tub we have for her. Will post the weight and length of baby Sara later. No response from the Embassy regarding any time where my application will get processed properly (timely) fashion. I expect another 6 months of wait before getting a decision from them.
Lets the movies I recently saw.

Fruits and Veggies in Pakistan.
Thank you very much for you insightful information. I am keen on learning
more about the baby stuff.
Will keep your advises and suggestions handy for future purposes.

I am sure Americans follow more regular patterns of baby foods "formulas". Here our relatives and families do test babies with different fresh juices as the fruits and vegetables here are grown organically. As compared to the US where fruits and vegies depend on chemicals and boosting enzymes to upsize their growth. Which is why Paki people tend to be more free in testing other foods for the baby like rice and bananas to their babies. I have also seen my relatives give orange fruits "meetha" which not available in US to babies. There are a bunch of fruits that are not available in the US. Like Lukaut, Sindhri and chossa mangoes, Kinu, Nimbooo "lemon", Jamun, Chicoo. And lots of others I can name if I come accross them in the fruit market.
